Inspired by Max Ernst’s grattage technique, the dots exist on a lower level as if scraped into existence. From a distance, one is under the illusion of a simpler, uniform piece. As one approaches, the context shifts as multicolour dots begin slowly to appear revealing a new experience depending on the onlookers standpoint.
